Notre Dame's wide receiver, Justin Brent, will not be suspended for dating a porn star, this was the recent announcement of the team.

The statement came as a response to a photo of Brent and porn star Lisa Ann in bed which came out and became viral online.

A Notre Dame Football spokesperson told TMZ that the player will not be punished for the photo and that he will be playing against the Navy this weekend. In fact, the spokesperson said that Coach Brian Kelly has already spoken and met with Brent when he went back to the campus and cleared any existing issues.

TMZ noted that the team saw nothing wrong with Brent's actions though the university upholds that students may be punished for engaging in premarital sex but it noted that there was no solid proof that the couple had sex.

"The University embraces the Catholic Church's teaching that a genuine and complete expression of love through sex requires a commitment to a total living and sharing together of two persons in marriage. Consequently, students who engage in sexual union outside of marriage may be subject to referral to the University Conduct Process," university rules state as quoted by the National Post.

There were also reports that Notre Dame officials have warned Brent about his posts on social media which means that the player should take it slow with Lisa Ann especially with their Twitter and Instagram posts.

The two have been rumored dating for a time now and Salon said that the porn star "does not give a damn what anyone thinks about her dating" Brent who is 23 years younger than her.

"I am a women NOT held back by my age, lucky for me, because the writers seem to make me out to be a dinosaur. 42 is NOT old, It is amazing!" she posted on her Twitter page.

A lot of people have expressed their take on the issue on social media where speculations that Brent will be given punishment also surfaced.

But a separate TMZ report said that the couple has been receiving support from celebrities like rapper Young Jeezy who vocally expressed his happiness for the two.

"More power to him! "If he enjoys it, ain't nothing wrong with it," he told TMZ. The rapper also said that perhaps everybody should consider dating a sex professional like Lisa Ann noting that Brent has nothing to be ashamed of with their relationship.

Well the two have certainly placed themselves on the spotlight which may subject them to more trouble if they decide on continuing sharing their intimate moments together. This is becoming an issue since Brent is still in school, a school which follows strict guidelines of morality.
