The story went by many titles, technical details as differences -- "The Fast and The Furious," "2 Fast 2 Furious," "The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift," "Fast and Furious," "Fast Five" and "Fast and Furious 6" -- but all dwelled in one common storyline that graced a generation of race car enthusiasts and Paul Walker fans.

Now, the franchise's seventh installment opted for a single word title and an accompanying number: "Furious 7." The Verge noted the title's unwrapping in Universal Studios' poster, which also featured the story's main characters.

The film's first official trailer is set to launch on November 1 at 12:00 p.m. PT, according to IGN. It will be part of a Los Angeles event titled "The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event," which will be live streamed on the franchise's official Facebook page.

The page announced, "Because of our fans, our saga has grown bigger and better with every chapter. In just 7 days, we will reveal the first trailer for our next installment -- FURIOUS 7."

A fan encouraged others in one of the page's teaser photo, "As fans of Paul Walker & the 'Fast & Furious' franchise let's make this the best fast movie of them all!"

Those who can physically attend the event will get the chance to see the cast in person.

In addition, the page informed that fans can start throwing questions at selected cast members, which will be answered at the event. Using #AskFurious7, fans are encouraged to submit an Instagram video asking their questions out. Alternatively, queries can be posted as comments here.

As part of the promotions, Universal has created a recollection clip featuring the first six films -- and Paul Walker is definitely there.

The upcoming film is Paul's last appearance in the big screen, said news.com.au. The 40-year-old star ironically died in a car crash November last year. His tragic and unexpected death happened while the latest installment was being filmed. To continue Paul's legacy, the actor's brothers, Caleb and Cody, stood in for his character, Brian O'Conner.

Directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan, "Furious 7" includes Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Kurt Russell and the late Paul Walker as cast members.

Tickets for "The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event" may be purchased here.

"Furious 7" hits theaters on Apr. 3, 2015.
