Lindsay Lohan has no problem with her body and has proven time and time again, she can take risque photos. While preparing for her performance in David Manet's "Speed-the-Plow," the celebrity took a sexy selfie Wednesday, Oct. 22.
While holding her iPhone, she snapped a quick pic of herself with luxurious wavy hair covering her topless, ample bosom. The photo was taken her dressing room at London's Playhouse Theatre where she is performing.
The 28-year-old actress is serious about her work on the play. During a recent interview with BBC One, the "Mean Girls" celebrity is determined to make each and every curtain call.
"It was a strange thing, because when you have someone in the show who is understudying for you and I see this girl outside just waiting, and there's me flying past her and she's like 'f**k' and I'm like, 'This is my show, I'm never missing a show, that will never happen'," she explained via Entertainment Wise.
While Lohan may be making a comeback and showing the world she's serious about her career, the reviews for "Speed-the-Plow" have been mixed.
Variety acknowledged the appropriateness of Lohan for the character but comments on her inability to connect with other actors on stage.
"...although she fits the bill as temporary secretary Karen (who may or may not be secretly on-the-make), she doesn't yet know how to generate and share energy with other actors onstage. She dutifully expresses the intention of each line but there should be more to Karen than meets the eye. Because Lohan is unable to handle subtext, the character - and thus the drama - loses dimensions," assessed Variety.
Putting forth the same tone, The Hollywood Reporter had similar comments: "Lindsay Lohan's performance on press night as Karen in director Lindsay Posner's new London production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow was okay. It wasn't a car crash, but then neither was it likely to win her an Olivier Award, London's equivalent of a Tony."
"I'm at a point when I want a diligent routine and I really want to get back into work. And I wanted to do something different," said Lohan recently to Time Out London via the LA Times.
"I'm willing to work hard to gain back the respect that I once had and have lost," she added.
Lohan shares the stage with Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay in the 1988 Hollywood satire schedule to run until Nov. 29.
