Despite the "conscious uncoupling" that ended their 10-year marriage, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin still continue being friendly with each other.

The two exes had dinner at a sushi restaurant called Katsuya Brentwood in Los Angeles, California with their two children -- daughter Apple and son Moses -- along with a friend and her child, Daily Mail reported.

After the friend and her child left, Martin and Paltrow stayed at the restaurant for 15 minutes with their children just catching up, a report from PEOPLE adds.

A diner at the restaurant told the magazine that the family appeared like they were getting along. "They seemed like a happy family," the source said. "Chris kept showing Gwyneth what looked like pictures on his phone and they were smiling," adds the diner.

After eating, the two left the restaurant in their own respective cars. Daily Mail adds that Martin went out of his vehicle after driving a few blocks to properly say goodbye to his ex-wife, and the actress was seen reaching out of the car window to caress the British rocker's face before heading away.

The ex-couple announced their separation last March, with Martin taking the blame for all of it. According to NY Daily News, the singer's own demons and personal issues ruined his marriage with Paltrow.

"About two years ago I was a mess, really, because I can't enjoy the things that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this," the 37-year old singer said as published on NY Daily News.

"I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes," Martin added.

Since then, the ex-couple has been going out with other people. Daily Mail reported that Paltrow has been seeing "Glee" co-creator Brad Falchuk, while Martin has allegedly been dating "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence for months now.

According to Daily Mail, the 24-year old actress has been seen several times at Martin's property in Malibu, and the two were even seen kissing each other at a King's of Leon concert in Hollywood.

E! Online adds that the new couple also enjoys dinner dates and Lawrence is always supporting her boyfriend at his private Coldplay concerts.

"They seem very comfortable in each other's company-and happy!" a source tells E! Online. "It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other."

But what does Paltrow think of her ex-husband's new relationship with the young star? E! Online stated that the actress approves of it and even sees why Lawrence is a good match for Martin.

"Gwyneth is very happy for Chris, that he has moved on and found someone else. Their split has been remarkably amicable and they both just want the best for one another," according to the E! News insider.
