In addition to being an award-winning actress, Halle Berry is also very much into good business endeavors. The 48-year old actress has been rocking a great body for many years now, and it's no wonder that she has made use of it for a new venture -- a sexy lingerie line.

Berry announced that she is introducing the French lingerie brand Scandale Paris to the United States -- a name which she co-owns, PEOPLE reported.

The first collection of the 80-year old brand will be sold in select Target stores on October 27 and will feature designs worth $16 and $18 for bras, and panties for $7. Written on each piece is Berry's favorite French phrase "C'est un Scandale" which means "It's scandalous," PEOPLE adds.

During a private event at Ladurée in New York City, Berry told InStyle that she first spotted Scandale while strolling around Paris.

When asked why she went into the world of intimates, the actress said that the brand is reminiscent of Paris itself -- which is beautiful and inspiring -- and that she thinks that lingerie is significant.

"[Lingerie] is something that I love. It's slightly whimsical. It's something that's really important for us as women. It's something that gets overlooked," Berry said in the InStyle report.

But how did her husband, French film star Olivier Martinez, reacted to this sexy venture? The actress, and also the face of Revlon, said that Martinez was very supportive of it and that he knows how much she cares about undergarments.

"I can't think of anybody better to do this, anyone who cares about this more than probably you," Berry's husband repotedly said according to PEOPLE.

InStyle also asked the actress about her favorite pieces of lingerie, and she confessed that she loves a good bra -- to the point that she would wear it 24 hours a day, even while sleeping.

"My mother has taught me since I was very young that if you don't want your boobs to hit your knees by the time you're 30, always wear a bra, even to bed. Comfort is important to me because I wear a bra around the clock. Bras to me are key," Berry explained.

The actress, who thinks that sexy is a state of mind, also told InStyle that the secret to being a confident and sexy woman is not compromising who you are.

"Having a sense of integrity, feeling valid in your points of view and opinions. That's what's made me feel confident over the years, especially as I've gotten older. I think I've gotten more confident just because I believe more in myself," she added.

"Now you can ask me almost anything and I'll have an answer. You might not agree, but I have a definite opinion that I believe strongly," the actress concluded.
