With the release of the much-awaited third installment of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," another video teaser has been released, this time focusing on the Gale-Katniss-Peeta love triangle.
The footage begins with a new propo released by the Capitol but it can be seen that it's not the message the Mockingjay is focused on -- it's the person on the screen.
Showing both disbelief and relief, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) says in an airy whisper, "You're alive..." as Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) calls Panem residents to "lay down their weapons immediately," noted MovieFone,
Aptly titled, "CHOICE," the 30-second clip focuses on the on-going rebellion led by District 13 and the choice Katniss makes to save Peeta.
"When you love somebody, you don't leave them behind," says Katniss despite the fact that Peeta is acting as a mouthpiece for Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the TV footage piece.
Additionally, one cannot ignore the emphasis on the feelings Gale (Liam Hemsworth) has towards Katniss as he looks to be taking advantage of his proximity and time with the rebel icon.
"Everyone has a choice, Katniss, and I would rather die than say what he just said," said Gale of Peeta's betrayal. However, the effort to discredit Peeta seems to fall on deaf ears as Everdeen only has one thing on her mind -- taking Peeta back from the clutches of the Capitol.
Accompanying the clip is the summary of the upcoming flick: "The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage."
Catch "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" when it hits theaters on Nov. 21. The final film, "Mockingjay - Part 2" will be released a year later, Nov. 2015, effectively concluding the trilogy.
"[It's] two different, very distinct stories. ... For us it's world expansion instead of changing things," quoted ScreenRant of franchise star Lawrence, 24, on the decision to split final installment into two films. "We've been able to open the world up in this and see some new places. We get to see some new districts this time, and the scope gets quite large."
