Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios' fight is expected to be quite a lucrative bout as it could provide a huge windfall to those lucky enough to guess how many rounds this welterweight showdown would last.

Pacquiao and Rios are all ready for the big rumble on Nov. 23 at Venetian Macao in Macau China. With the WBO international welterweight championship and perhaps a world title shot up for grabs, these two gladiators are expected to leave no room for mercy in an attempt to come through with a sensational victory.

According to Examiner writer Michael Marley, the "Battle in Cotai" showdown will generate a lot of interest among online bettors because of the big money at stake in the fight.

Wagering Opportunity

Unlike the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul Canelo Alvarez fight, the disparity between Pacquiao and Rios in terms of betting odds is not that wide. Pacman is current a minus 420 in the latest betting trends while Rios is at plus 320.

Though many experts pick Pacquiao to hammer his "tune-up" opponent in Rios, there's no doubt that this fight will go the distance because of the Californian brawler's incredible chin and stamina.

Rios, who just absorbed his first loss at the hands of Mike Alvarado via unanimous decision earlier this year, has never been knocked out in his career.

On the other hand, Pacquiao is coming off a sixth-round TKO loss to rival Juan Manuel Marquez last December, and many boxing pundits are uncertain whether he can still be his old self inside the ring.

But the thing sports betters are most interested in regarding the fight is the rounds needed to declare a winner. With both of them known as knockout artists, it will be hard to predict how long these guys can withstand heavy blows.

Going to Distance

Marley believes the Pacquiao-Rios rumble will be decided in 12 rounds, considering that Pacman will be really cautious in his first fight after the TKO loss. Rios, meanwhile, will give Pacquiao all sorts of trouble during the fight, but in the end, his lack of counter punching ability and footwork will be exposed. Nevertheless, betting fans will enjoy this fight because the money keeps on climbing higher as the fight progresses. Many bettors will put their bets on early round knockouts, but the safe and most financially rewarding bets remain in the later rounds, a 12-round decision, perhaps.
