'Glee' star Matthew Morrison tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Renee Puente on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony with 50 guests, People reported.

The 35-year old actor, best known for his role on "Glee" as teacher Will Schuester, popped the question to 31-year old model and actress in June 2013 after 2 years of dating. He reportedly gave her a blue sapphire engagement ring, according to E! Online.

"The actor's good friends, Elton John and David Furnish, announced the engagement onstage at their White Tie and Tiara ball in London on June 27, 2013. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin then followed the announcement by being joined with Elton for a duet of 'Your Song,' which was dedicated to the newly engaged couple," E! Online further reports.

The couple, who first met at a Grammy party, exchanged vows in a private estate in the island of Maui, Hawaii, adds People.

"Morrison wore a custom Brooks Brothers tuxedo for the occasion, while the bride wore a one-of-a-kind Gustavo Cadile gown with shoes specially designed by Emmy London," according to the report from People.

"She also sported a pink rose flower crown and carried a matching, cascading bouquet," E! Online adds in the same report. Morrison also wore a leafy lei during the ceremony.

As the bride walked down the aisle, soloist Kiley Dean sang "Feels Like Home" while being accompanied by Chad Widden on the piano. People magazine also reported that Puente performed a special hulu dance for her new husband during the wedding reception.

The two later on did a couples' version of the dance. The duo also teamed up to sing Laura Benanti's "Starry Eyed/Video Games," the magazine reported.

According to the report from E! Online, "They are thrilled. It is the first marriage for them both. He loves her so much. The theme of the night was love, which is so appropriate."

After the engagement back in June, Morrison tweeted, "An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf ball. I'm going to marry my best friend! Happy day for me and @Renee_Puente."

Puente also tweeted a few days after the engagement, "Ummm.. Can we change our name from Rematt to something that sounds more attractive such as maybe... MattnNay???"
