Taylor Swift's new song "Out of the Woods" points to none other than Harry Styles, reported HollywoodLife.
Although 24-year old Swift insists that her recent album "1989" isn't a heartbreak record, according to E! Online, it is crystal clear that the lyrics to "Out of the Woods" is all about her 20-year old ex-boyfriend, Styles.
Swift co-wrote "Out of the Woods" with Lena Dunham's boyfriend, Jack Antonoff.
Several lines of the song definitely pertain to the One Direction member. Swift sings, "Remember when you hit the brakes too soon/ Twenty stitches in a hospital room."
According to the pop singer's cover story from Rolling Stone, the track was "inspired by a snowmobile ride with an ex who lost control and wrecked it so badly that she saw her life flash before her eyes." It was known that the ex-couple went on a much publicized trip to Utah with Justin Bieber back in December 2012.
The "Last December" line is also present in Swift's new song. This clue points once again to Styles, seeing as they dated during the said month and had a big fight -- eventually ending their short-lived romance.
Swift also had a December affair with actor Taylor Lautner which she wrote about on "Back to December," but that one's over now.
Now the last piece of the puzzle presented itself in this line from "Out of the Woods" which says:
"Your necklace hanging round my neck
The night we couldn't quite forget
When we decided
To move the furniture so we could dance
Two paper airplanes flying, flying."
Swift has been spotted out and about many times wearing Styles' own paper airplane necklace, HollywoodLife said.
But what does Styles say about this issue? Well, it looks the British pop singer isn't bothered by any of it.
"Harry is not bothered by yet another song about him. Taylor is beyond yesterday's news and he really doesn't want to have anything to do with her, he has moved on and doesn't think about her at all," HollywoodLife reported, via a source.
"Harry doesn't want to respond as well because then it will seem he cares, so he is just hoping that it will all go away and she will stop talking about him in interviews or songs or whatever. She needs to get over it," the source adds.
That stings.
However, HollywoodLife added that Styles defended his former girlfriend. "This new song has put Harry in an awkward position because he's being forced to defend her! All his friends are making fun of Taylor over this, calling her names like 'Bunny Boiler' and 'Cray Tay.'"
Apparently, Styles doesn't want to be mean to Swift and he genuinely feels bad for hurting her feelings.
