He wants a divorce, but she's saying they were never married in the first place.

Iggy Azalea is fuming over former boyfriend Maurice Williams' effort to end their marriage, blasting him with the killer counter that they were never married, which would logically make his claim crumble from the ground up, TMZ reported.

The 24-year-old "Fancy" singer, also known as Hefe Wine, just wants a slice of the hit maker's fortune, she said in the report, even saying that the only man in her life is Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young, who rumors say is heading to the altar with her.

According to Inquisitr, she and her ex-boyfriend started sharing the same home in Texas when Azalea was merely 18 years old back in 2008. The couple have split, but Williams said they were living as man and wife, or in legal terms, married under common law, the report said.

"In Texas, a man and a woman who live together for any length of time are considered legally married if they agree to be married and hold themselves out to others as husband and wife," another TMZ report explained.

It quoted the papers he filed in the Lone-Star state. The two "agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife, and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September, 2008." They parted only last year.

The report added that the former flame took to the court his call to prohibit Azalea from selling assets they reportedly accumulated during the marriage, also mentioning the two's scuffle over the rights to multimillion music Azalea wrote while they were still a couple.

The two are also at war because he allegedly released some of her early musical work without her permission, the New York Daily News added, also noting his claim last month that he and Azalea had a sex tape, which her legal team said might have been shot "without her knowledge or consent."

If the judge takes the side of Williams, assets will be split 50/50, the report said. Azalea's reps are now saying it's a malicious money grab at a time.

The Australian rapper is not letting that slide of course, The Source said, citing the New York Daily News.

"It's disappointing that this thief, felon and fugitive is continuing to use the media to attack Iggy as part of his desperate and despicable attempt to keep himself in the press," a spokesperson said, as quoted by New York Daily News.

"Iggy's federal court complaint froze Mr. Williams' ability to trade on her fame by profiting from music he stole from her, so he has resorted to elevating his predatory relationship with a 17-year-old girl into a sham 'marriage' claim unsupported by any certificate or evidence," added the spokesperson.
