An alleged pre-order page for the PS4 version of "Grand Theft Auto 5" has seemingly revealed its install size while another suggests an earlier release date.
It turns out that "GTA 5" will be 50GB in size, said VG 24/7, citing a supposed PSN listing of the game which was posted at GTA Forums.
The thread starter, daltontigerboy, compared the game's 50GB minimum save size to other titles and said that it "will be the biggest PS4 game to date in terms of file size." He explained:
"Currently, the largest PS4 game is Wolfenstein: The New Order, coming in at 46.9 GB, and a 48 GB minimum save size."
Another interesting tidbit captured on the alleged PS4 "GTA 5" order page is that the game might support motion gameplay. "A PlayStation Move navigation controller or Wireless Controller will be required for motion control features," reads a text on the image.
The recently announced $300,000 additional currency bonus for pre-ordered PS4 version of "GTA 5" is also mentioned in the photo. Rockstar Games has previously announced that gamers who pre-order the game will receive a total of $1,000,000 currency bonus.
The in-game cash can be spent on "Grand Theft Auto 5" ($500,000) and "Grand Theft Auto Online" ($500,000).
"Today, I'm excited to announce that if you pre-order Grand Theft Auto V from PlayStation Store by November 3rd, you'll receive an additional $300K for Grand Theft Auto Online, so make sure you pre-order early!" Chieh Chen wrote on PlayStation Blog.
GameSpot said that the same pre-order bonus was confirmed by Microsoft for the Xbox One version of the game.
According to Gotta be Mobile, an additional virtual currency bonus is not the only perk for PS4 gamers. The outlet said that the next-gen Sony game could be launched earlier than expected.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of "GTA 5" were given a Nov. 18 release date by Rockstar Games but a leaked product page is revealing a Nov. 4 release date for the PS4 title. Should the details on the screenshot prove to be true, PS4 gamers will be able to get their hands on the game a couple of weeks earlier than Xbox One players will.
Rockstar Games assures next-gen and PC "GTA 5" gamers "a range of major visual and technical upgrades." The PC version, initially announced to launch the same day as the console versions, has received a later Jan. 27, 2015 release date.
