The latest trailer for the upcoming expansion pack for "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls," has been leaked early on Youtube, and it offers a brief, but intense glimpse at the action that the expansion will add to the popular game.
After the customary rating information and Blizzard logo, the trailer immediately kicks into a look at the new game modes that "Reaper of Souls" will add to "Diablo 3." It shows the menu screen for the game and the new Adventure Mode, which will allow players to further explore the world of the game. Bounties will also be added to the game, with players hunting specific targets and getting huge rewards for successfully slaying their foes. Nephalem Rifts will also transport characters to new and exciting settings to face the dangers within. Reaper of Souls will also give players the advantage of having all waypoints being unlocked. Clans and groups were also highlighted, but the trailer did not go into the specific changes and improvements that will be coming to that aspect of the game.
Then the trailer highlights the new game systems that Blizzard is adding to the game through Reaper of Souls. The first change shown is the inclusion of the new artisan: the Mystic. This new artisan will be useful for the new enchanting and transmogrification abilities that will be added to "Diablo 3." For those tired of the previous paragon system, the process will be upgraded and improved when the expansion pack is released.
After all the new features are shown, some gameplay footage of Diablo 3 with the new content is shown. The new enemies are seen attacking players in a variety of settings, but some of the powerful abilities and spells that different classes of character have can make short work of these terrifying new foes. Some epic looking bosses are also shown in the video, which look as though they can give players lots of trouble when they have to slay the beasts. The trailer then ends without giving a release date for when fans can expect the expansion to be released.
While this new trailer is impressive, it looks as though some "Diablo 3" fans may not be able to play it. "Reaper of Souls" has been confirmed for the PC, Mac and PlayStation 4, but not for the rest of the platforms the the game is available on. Look out for more "Diablo 3" news as the expansion pack continues to get worked on by Blizzard.
