Golf Channel star Win McMurry embraced the wild, literally. Posting a photo of her successful elk hunting mission, TMZ Sports said the hot lass went hunting this week in Cody, Wyoming.
McMurry, who anchors "PGA Tour Primetime," hunted down a 12-point elk and posted it online, on the first day of October.
The 31-year-old beauty is a North Carolina native, the report said, adding that she loves the outdoors. Her Instagram account tells you she's really good with the bow and arrow-and a gun.
In 2011, Golf.com called her the No. 1 beauty in golf, playing since she was 7 or 8.
"My No. 1 favorite shot? I love chipping," she told the report. "Hitting a powerful drive is great, but that perfect short pitch or chip that stops next to the hole-that takes artistry."
She also told Golf.com that the sport was not alienating, even though others think golf is a boy's club: "Everybody is so respectful. The beauty of this sport is that you hold yourself to the highest ideals-you govern yourself-and that translates to being a woman in a male-dominated industry."
All that points to one thing: She has no problem navigating a man's world.
But let's not forget that she's also a femme fatale in her bikini. Remember her ice bucket challenge post?
And if you explore her Instagram profile, you won't really have a problem finding evidence of that hot body. For instance, there's this, this and this, all posted within the last two months.
Don't worry. She's no airhead. Golf.com reported that she believes a mantra her mother told her: "Beauty without brains is like a book without words."
According to her website, the beach beauty joined Golf Channel from PGA Tour Entertainment. She previously worked in New York City as a production assistant for CBS Sports in coverage involving the National Football League, college football and the PGA Tour. She also worked for Channel 2 News.
Golf.com quoted her as saying she loves her job because there's always something new to watch out for.
"I wouldn't be doing this job if it wasn't for my mom, the most beautiful person I know," she told the report. "She's always said, 'Go go after your dreams.' I get my ability to speak in public from her."
Also according to her website, she holds a bachelor's degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She also holds a post-graduate certificate in business from the Kenan-Flagler Business School there.
If you ever want to woo her, a word of advice from Golf.com: Don't use "Does your head hurt? Because I think you fell from heaven." She said it's the worst pick-up line she's heard.
