Rockstar Games has officially announced that "Grand Theft Auto 5" comes out on Nov. 18 for the PS4 and Xbox One, while PCs can get it a little later on Jan. 27, 2015. Showcasing a grid-interfaced web site, "GTA 5" teases on the many things prospective players can expect as soon as the next installment hits their consoles and desktops.

One rumored feature is the first-person mode, which Rockstar Games allegedly dropped on the game's site. Yet the said update is no longer there, according to IGN.

The post stated that the game will take "full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail." The entry was dated Sept. 12, according to Eurogamer.

IGN reported that the details of the speculated update includes new features to expect on the upcoming versions, increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, enhanced resolutions, new Jobs, new weapons, new vehicles, new properties, player customizations and a video editor for advanced movie-making.

Specifically, the first-person mode comes at on-foot and in-vehicle viewing options.

In June, Cinema Blend reported a fan mod which showcased the first-person view in South Los Santos. The outlet mentioned in a recent report that this may resemble the alleged first-person on-foot feature. Some other cited features include new random events in Story Mode, new animals and an improved character selection screen.

The first-person in-vehicle view will allow players to see the interior of their automobile, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights and more.

CVG added that a new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and over 100 additional songs and DJ mixes for radio selection are expected to arrive.

"Grand Theft Auto 5" takes place in the fictional metropolis that is Los Santos. Dubbed as "once the envy of the Western world," it is now struggling under economic instability. The game presents three different characters whose adventures to survival weave the story's gameplay: Franklin, a street hustler seeking legit opportunities that yield serious cash; Michael, a professional ex-convict and Trevor, a "violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score."

Google was reported to keep a cached version of the page. Unfortunately, the link can no longer be accessed. But Reddit user DrOversight has saved a copy of the speculated post here.
