Best buds Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini were involved in a vehicular accident caused by a drunk driver.

Lopez, 45, was with Remini, 44, and her kids, were rear-ended while stopped at a red light along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, reported People. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident and J.Lo

Sitting in the backseat were JLo's twins, Max and Emme, who sandwiched Remini's 10-year-old daughter Sofia.

According to TMZ, the driver of a small pickup hit JLo's group from behind and quickly sped off. One of the stars quickly called 911 and "Deputies raced to the scene and found the driver a short distance away, determined he was driving under the influence and arrested him for DUI and hit and run."

"The driver apparently got back into his pickup truck before finishing an insurance information exchange with Lopez and Remini (who was driving) and fled the scene. Officers arrested the man shortly afterwards, later determining that he was indeed driving under the influence, according to the Malibu Police Department," reported People.

Based on the posts of Lopez, the stars exchanged some heated words saying on her post, "#cursedthatfoolout," "#theBronxcameout."

The incident happened Saturday around 8 p.m., the same night the girls were able to enjoy Demi Lovato's concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lopez' twins are from her marriage to fellow Latin singer, Marc Anthony. The couple's long standing divorce took three years to process. They publicly announced their intention to split in July 2011, citing the decision as "difficult" but an "amicable" one. The papers weren't filed until April 2012, during which Lopez was already involved with then-boyfriend Smart.

Lopez has primary custody of the twin girls while the young kids can stay with Anthony seven days of each month, reported TMZ.

"The former couple agreed to use their 'best efforts' to avoid unwanted publicity when it comes to 6-year-old twins Emme and Max. The document makes it clear ... it's in the best interest of the kids to shield them from "aggressive news organizations and photographers," said the site.
