While most science fiction genre fans have their eyes set towards "Star Wars Episode VII" and "Avatar 2" in late 2015, they should not be too quick to forget about Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar," which opens Nov. 7. Nolan is famously 'hush-hush' about his films, shying away from the hype and letting his creation speak for itself. While other directors such as Star Wars J.J. Abrams release loads of teaser footage, Nolan stays true to his creative medium.

After directing hit and perplexing movies like "Inception," "The Dark Knight," and "The Prestige," fans cannot wait to see what "Interstellar" has in store for them. From watching the trailer it is easy to see that the film appears to be science fiction, although aside from the initial genre there are not many other plot details that appear. This is Nolan's classic flavor, which always proves to be a surprise to eager viewers.

"Interstellar" boasts an Oscar winning, all-star cast in the way of Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway. McConaughey is fresh off of his best actor performance for "Dallas Buyers Club," and so fans will be expecting a top performance.

Nolan gave an unprecedented interview with Empire Magazine in which he revealed small tid bits about what fans can expect from his new film. "It's almost a mirror image of Inception. It expands out in the way Inception contracts inwards," he told Empire. "It's a very classically constructed movie, but the freshness of the narrative elements really enhance it. I liken it to the blockbusters I grew up with as a kid, family films in the best sense: edgy, incisive, challenging."

Jessica Chastain spoke to Yahoo, "I can tell you I saw my costar Matthew McConaughey on Saturday. In his own words, the movie is an 'event.' He said he cried three times when he had seen it recently." Anything that can make Matthew McConaughey cry is something we want to see.

To conclude the top-billed cast, Anne Hathaway also spoke with Empire. "I am so excited for the world to receive this film, because there's going to be a new conversation because of it," Hathaway told Empire. "It's not a dry, science-based film. It has a pulse. It's got blood in its veins."

Interstellar hits theaters this fall on November 7.
