The "Modern Family" star has revealed how she was able to woo her new lover, Joe Manganiello.
"He smelled me and he couldn't help himself. That's all you need if you want Joe!" Sofia Vergara said on "Good Morning America" (GMA).
The actress stopped by the morning show to promote the new season of "Modern Family" as well as her very own scent.
"[I'm] very excited, very proud of it. I love it!" she said of her perfume, "Sofia" by Sofia Vergara.
"I worked very hard to get the perfect combination of scents I wanted. It took me like a year of testing, trying things, annoying [Modern Family co-star] Ed O'Neill because I would show up on the set and go near him without him knowing to see if he liked it or not.
"He would tell me, 'Mmm, you smell delicious today.' I did it with every man I knew because I wanted men to like it, too!" she said on GMA.
The scent, according to Vergara's interview with Allure Magazine, is a mix of fruits and florals.
"So it's blackberry, plum, and cassis. And then, because of my country, I wanted to include Colombian roses, orchids, and violets. And then the base notes-which to me are the most sexy and sensual part of the fragrance-are sandalwood and vanilla," she spilled.
"Sofia" retails for $55 on HSN and is currently sold out. The product listing describes the eau de parfum:
"Playful, voluptuous, glamorous ... Sofia is simply unforgettable. Embrace her sweet and sensual essence for yourself in this approachably exotic aroma. Romantic florals, tempting berries and intoxicating earthy notes combine to create a multi-faceted fragrance sure to capture their attention."
Also available on the site is "Sofia" by Sofia Vergara Body Lotion which retails for $30. Bundled with a 3.4 fl. oz eau de parfum and a small .33 fl oz spritzer, the set costs $68. A $48-priced "Sofia" eau de parfum which comes with a cosmetic bag is also selling like hotcakes with more than 1,200 ratings as of press time.
The Colombian actress might have ventured into cosmetics and perfume but she revealed that "Modern Family" is responsible for her fat bank account and her undeniable fame.
"I got recognized in the streets! The other actors were already in things in American television. For me, it was a surprise! After the first episode, everywhere I went, they were like, 'Oh, you're Gloria from Modern Family.' I was in shock. It was immediate," she said on GMA.
Catch the actress when "Modern Family" returns for its sixth run--premiering tonight on ABC.
