The request for divorce papers, filed by Kris Jenner, on Monday could be Hollywood's most friendly one. Dating their separation on June 1, 2013, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" momager maintained a friendly relationship with ex-husband Bruce Jenner, as reported by E! Online.
They even noted their 23rd wedding anniversary on April 21. Kris wrote, "Happy Anniversary to one of the most amazing men I know!!!!"
The divorce is deemed "totally amicable," according to TMZ. Kris went straight to the Los Angeles Superior Court without a lawyer, citing the ever-standard "irreconcilable differences" as grounds for request. The outlet added that Bruce's response will be made at the LA County Courthouse.
A source "close to the family" was cited by People to reveal that the divorce has been planned for quite some time. The source said, "They both did it together... It's all done and no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months."
CNN reported that Kris' petition did not favor any spousal support from her to Bruce. Specifically, it seemed both will not be sharing wealth of any type anymore. It was reported that Kris requested to keep all her jewelry and assets acquired from the time of their split. She also asked that all other assets be divided later, said People.
Although their abode is not the same, the post-split couple was reported to continue spending time together. Kris is based in Calabasas, California while Bruce lives in Malibu.
As for 17-year-old Kylie, she will be under joint custody of her parents. Her mom and dad's respective families are both with four children--Kris has four with the late Robert Kardashian while Bruce has four from his first two wives.
The ex-couple had exclusively revealed in another report by E! Online that they were much happier living separately. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority," said the ex-married couple.
While Kris is in the middle of this legal procedure, Lamar Odom allegedly tried to get on her good side to win Khloe Kardashian back, an alleged source told Hollywood Life. The unnamed source shared, "Not only did he send Khloe flowers earlier in the week; he also sent Kris a bunch of stargazer lilies."
Meanwhile, the next season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is expected to film in a few weeks, said Radar Online.
