Samsung has announced the release date of its latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. The big day is set on October 17 in the United States, but the Korean tech giant has made the upcoming device available for preorder on Friday--just a little later after Apple's iPhone 6 Plus hits retail stores.
The Galaxy Note 4 possesses Quad HD Super AMOLED Display, 3.7MP front F1.9 lens camera, 16MP Smart OIS back camera, Smart Select through the S Pen, Photo Note, better multitasking features and faster charging with Ultra Power Saving mode.
The Super AMOLED Display is expected to illuminate vivid colors through precise color saturation. Photos can be taken with Photo Note and instant conversion from analog to digital may be done.
Major wireless carriers in the US are now on a race to win prospective Note 4 buyers, according to Pop Herald.
AT&T is perhaps the network earliest to offer the Note 4 to subscibers. The device becomes available to preorder on Sept. 19, while shipping starts Oct. 14. The company claims to have pioneered the launch of the Note series in the US and is now offering the largest line of Samsung devices. BGR reported that AT&T's pricing will come at $0 down payment, with upgrades available after 12 or 18 months.
Preorders will also be catered by Verizon Wireless on Sept. 19 at 3:00 a.m. EST. The network offers two Samsung products: the Note 4 and the S-View Flip Cover. The latter is an accessory case that provides protection and a functional clear window style. Available colors include Charcoal, Gold and White. The outlet offers pricing of $299.99 with new two-year activation.
Offering $0 down payment on Oct. 17 is T-Mobile, in all its participating outlets nationwide. Preorders can be made beginning Sept. 24 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. The network allows customers to sign up to receive latest news on the opening of preorders. The free down payment precedes an option of $31.24 for 24 months.
T-Mobile boasts of its Un-carrier, where customers can enjoy the super-sized devices "the way they were meant to be used." There will be no annual service contract. Unlimited music streaming, unlimited data and texting in over 120 countries and ultimately, the Wi-Fi Unleashed will be provided-- offering free texting and calling services.
The Note 4 also arrives at Sprint Corporation on Oct. 17, offering Sprint Spark's benefits of "high-speed data capabilities" and a wide array of payment plans. The Note 4 will come to Sprint Stores and all its channels at 1-800-SPRINT1. Plan rate is at $0 down payment, with a 24-month due of $30. Suggested retail price is $720. Preorders begin on Sept. 26, and pre-registration can now be done here.
