John Cena and Brock Lesnar gave a taste of what's in store for fans on Sunday's Night of the Champions event.
On Monday, Cena insulted Lesnar and pushed his manager, Paul Heyman to the ground. Things quickly escalated, and Cena and Lesnar ended up in a brawl.
According to Sky Sports, officials intervened in the heated fight between the two and pulled them from each other to avoid any more problems.
And it was clear on Monday night that Cena is prepared for his September 21 rematch with Lesnar. It can be remembered that Lesnar destroyed Cena during their Summer Slam battle making it look like the latter was a starter in WWE.
According to Bleacher Report, people did not expect that Cena would even have a "decent chance" during his rematch with Lesnar but his performance in the ring on Monday will surely make doubters think twice. Perhaps the biggest thing to expect is what Cena will bring to the table to be able to outfight the vicious wrestler in Lesnar.
SB Nation, for its part, predicted that Cena will dominate the "competitive fight." The report noted that Cena is determined to make a comeback and that he will definitely do everything he can to put an end to the reign of The Beast.
But for DNA India, Lesnar is the clear winner of the rematch saying that he will try to keep his title which he worked so hard to get. The battle, the report noted, will not be easy but it expects Lesnar to walk away with the belt and prove to Cena that his time as champion is over.
Aside from the main event featuring Cena and Lesnar, seven other fights will take place on Sunday and among those are the matches between Sheamus and Cesaro for the US Title, Dolph Ziggler versus The Miz for the Intercontinental Title, Rusev versus Mark Henry, The Usos vs Gold and Stardust for the Tag Team titles, Paige versus AJ Lee versus Nikki Bella for the Divas title, Chris Jericho versus Randy Orton and Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins.
WWE fans can really expect a Sunday night packed with action as some of the best and finest fighters are slated to go against each other.
