All of the major U.S. mobile providers are preparing for the iPhone 6's launch by offering customers various deals in order to lure new or current subscribers to buy-in to Apple's latest mobile hardware. From trade-in deals offering hundreds of dollars in credit, to $0 down, there are a variety of options to choose from. We've broken down the deals from the four top U.S carriers below, so check it out.
Verizon Wireless
Verizon is offering customers the chance to get a "free" 16GB iPhone 6 if they trade-in a working iPhone and sign up for a new two-year contract. Also, they'll only accept trade-ins on select models of previous iPhones. Verizon's trade-in deals expire on Sept. 30.
Sprint
Sprint will let customers trade-in iPhones as well, and is willing to give up to $300 for each iPhone traded-in, up to 3 phones per phone line. Sprint also claims it will beat any other trade-in offer. Sprint also unveiled new pricing on plans for iPhone users this week. New iPhone 6 customers get $10 off the monthly price for unlimited talk, text and data for $50 a month. They are also offering a "lease" plan for iPhones. Customers can pay Sprint $20 a month to lease a new iPhone from them, with the promise of upgrading to a new iPhone model after 2 years.
Sprint's trade-in deals will not end, as they are part of the company's buy-back program.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile is currently offering the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus to customers for $0 down and customers then pay the cost of the phone each month for the next 24 months. Additionally, T-Mobile is also claiming they will beat any other trade-in offers, just like Sprint; however, T-Mobile is promising an additional $50 for trade-ins on iPhones, in addition to matching other offers. It is not clear when exactly T-Mobile's trade-in deals will end for the iPhone 6, but the company has stated that they will run for a limited time.
AT&T
AT&T is also offering up to $300 for select iPhone trade-ins, but customers must also buy an iPhone 6 and commit to a two-year contract. They will also give customers $200 for the iPhone 4, 4s, 5 and 5c. AT&T is also giving customers $100 in credit if they add an additional line to their accounts. AT&T's iPhone 6 trade-in deals will expire on Sept. 30.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were available for pre-order on Sept. 12, and are scheduled for release on Friday, Sept. 19.
