Floyd "Money" Mayweather is set to face off in an epic rematch against the Argentinian, Marco Maidana. In their first bout, Mayweather handily won on scorecards, with two judges finding Mayweather took eight-rounds compared to Maidana's four. The final judge called it a draw, but was quickly dismissed by fans and critics alike.

Maidana and Mayweather have extremely different styles of fighting, which is both a positive and negative byproduct in the entertainment factor. Mayweather has never been classified as being much of an 'entertainment' fighter, with his speed, defense and efficiency in the punching department. Maidana, on the other hand, is far more of a straight-up blow-for-blow fighter. This inevitably affects his score by the sheer number of punches missed, but nevertheless it is entertaining to watch someone attempt to tee-off on Mayweather's face.     

In usual fashion, during the pre-match press conferences Mayweather couldn't resist about discussing events that have nothing to do with the fight at hand. Mayweather went into detail about his future career plans, saying that he could possibly retire by the end of 2015.

As quickly as the words had come out of his mouth, he retracted a bit telling the media, "I can't really say," Mayweather said. "They may come with another contract, which I'm pretty sure they will. It's not hard to stop right now. But I feel good, I feel strong."

From there, Mayweather decided to dive into the public opinion sector speaking about the Ray Rice case and the NFL's alleged involvement. Mayweather himself was jailed for three-months after domestic violence charges last year. He said that the NFL should have stuck to their initial two-game suspension of Rice without flip-flopping due to public pressure.

Overall the bout between Mayweather and Maidana should be an easy victory for the current champ. Mayweather brings a level of intelligence to the ring that is even harder to face off against the second time around. A fighter's best chance against Mayweather is too knock him out the first time, before he gets a rematch and has time to make the key adjustments.

The main event between Mayweather and Maidana will proceed after a four-bout Showtime pay-per-view undercard series that goes live at 8 p.m. (ET). If you don't have the ability to order pay-per-view, there are always sports bars or restaurants that should be packed with hyped up fans.
