Apple's unveiling of its latest products may not be over yet. This time, rumors continue to spread about the revamped MacBook Air in Q4--falling just in time for Christmas.

In a report by Christian Today, Intel has allegedly confirmed that the device will be powered by the company's new Core "M" chipsets which are set to "arrive" during the holiday season. Unofficial reports say that shipping of the first Core "M" chips will be at the end of this year. 

This could mean a release date of December 2014. 

Based on reports, Christian Today added that Apple will be the first company to get the new processors. In our previous report, Intel has revealed about Broadwell chips and how they make a difference. The 14-nanometer Broadwell-Y Core M chip works well with a wide range of high-performance to low-power products such as servers, personal computing devices and "Internet of Things."

However, recall that the 12-inch version is reportedly coming out in 2015, according to BGR. Hearsays from the same outlet suggest that the 11-inch and 13-inch versions will arrive this year.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has accurately predicted Apple's previous lineup of products. In a 2013 report by Apple Insider, he mentioned about Apple's idea of a new MacBook that sports Retina Display. He said at that time that the future product will include an "ultra-slim clamshell form factor."

MacRumors quoted Kuo who hinted about the new MacBooks' sizes, "We expect the unprecedented 12 inch model will boast both the portability of the 11 inch model, and productivity of the 13 inch model."

But Kuo is not alone in forecasting. Macworld reported Evercore Partners analyst Patrick Wang in January 2014 who is mooting a 12in MacBook/ hybrid launches in fall this year.

With regards to the Retina display, Kuo pointed out that high resolution offers an outstanding visual experience. We have reported earlier about Extreme Tech feeling strong about the MacBook Air's Retina display, calling it "inevitable"--as most screens in the market today work under high resolution.

So far, we hear speculations about the upcoming 12-inch Macbook Air 2014 Retina to be fan-less, lightweight, and ideally, a generally-better companion than the previous version.

There are no current rumors as to whether the holiday MacBook Air gets a new branding or supplementary name. Apple, Inc. has not confirmed any of the information reported above.
