The diva posted photos of herself in a recording studio on Instagram. Is the singer truly leaving all the work to her lawyers?

"Last night's rehearsal for #TheElusiveChanteuseShow", she captioned the Instagram pic. Another photo of her on the same night read, "Rehearsing".

Mariah Carey posted the photos a day after E! Online reported that she "has started the divorce process." According to the outlet's unnamed source, the singer was reportedly upset that husband Nick Cannon spoke to the press about their alleged marriage troubles.

As previously reported, the "America's Got Talent" host spilled that he and Carey are "living apart", said Yahoo.

"There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months. My main focus is my kids," Cannon was quoted in the Yahoo report.

The TV personality has denied the above interview on Twitter, saying that "trouble in paradise" is the "dumbest phrase" he's ever heard. He added, "I would never say that s**t".

He also tweeted several other messages on the same day-breaking his silence on the alleged divorce between him and his singer wife.

"What infuriates me most is to hear people slander @MariahCarey . I will forever be in debted to her for blessing me with our children..." he said in a tweet.

"I will always love her unconditionally for this and so much more. @MariahCarey is an amazing Mother and I trust her wholeheartedly..." he added.

He also referred to the "false reports" stating that Carey's character is otherwise as "absurd". He professed, "I love @MariahCarey and that will never change!!!"

Several outlets have accused Cannon of cheating on his wife. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, he has two other women who are much younger than Carey.

Jasmine Sanders, a 23-year-old model, was reportedly spotted out with Cannon, said Celeb Dirty Laundry--quoting Star Magazine. "Not only are the two very hands-on, but Nick has also been paying her bills!" added the outlet.

Cannon, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, also has an alleged affair with Brittany Dailey from "Wild N' Out". The sexy dancer, however, has dismissed the dating rumors on Twitter, saying that Cannon is only her "boss" and also "a friend".

Whatever the true status of Cannon and Carey's marriage is, it doesn't seem to stop the diva from doing her world tour. Mariah Carey fans in Japan, China and other Asian countries will be able to hear the diva sing "an exciting mix of her biggest hits, fan-favorite album cuts, never-before-performed selections from her #1 R&B Album "Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse" and many more surprises!" said the tour's website.
