On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys got a taste of defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in a game that ended with a 28-17 score.

Many people blamed the loss to quarterback Tony Romo, who according to Bleacher Report, went 23 of 37 for the 281 yards, made a touchdown and three interceptions.

The player was also believed to have not performed his best during the match with obvious "inaccurate" throws on the field all throughout the game.

Bleacher Report said the Cowboys made a good offensive effort during the start of the game but they still could not match the defensive wall set up by the 49ers.

The winning team on Sunday was also offensively unstoppable as they dominated the first two drives and made quite good runs midway until the end of the match. SB Nation noted that Frank Gore went over his 10,000 career rushing yards during the third quarter while Carlos Hyde made 50 yards for his seven carries.

The 49ers website said that the victory of the team sealed a great Week 1 for the San Francisco team which earlier lost its starting cornerbacks to injuries.

During the team's second series of the game, cornerback Tramaine Brock injured his toe and had to be taken out of the court in the middle of the game's first quarter. Another player, Chris Culliver, was also forced to leave the team after suffering a concussion.

But the team has remained strong proving last Sunday that they can win despite internal setbacks and injuries on their part. Their website revealed that they will go home to Santa Clara on Sunday night and continue with their scheduled practice on Tuesday.

The 49ers are set to face the Chicago Bears for their Week 2 home opener at the Levi's Stadium.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, vow to remain strong and continue fighting as they are scheduled to play in Tennessee and St. Louis next week before having a home game against New Orleans by the end of the month.
