"Prison Break" star Dominic Purcell joins the CW series as a villain called Heat Wave.

This means a possible reunion on set as well for another villain who's been cast in the superhero series, Wentworth Miller. Miller and Purcell play brothers in the hit Fox series "Prison Break" which ran from 2005 to 2009.

The 44-year-old Purcell is set to be seen on the show's Episode 10 duringthe first season, according to sources of The Hollywood Reporter. His character, Mick Rory aka Heat Wave, was first seen in the comics version of the speedy superhero.

Heat Wave is described as a character who as a young boy, was fearful of anything color due to a traumatizing scenario involving a refrigerated meat locker, reported Screenrant. His great love for fire led him to burn down his own home with his family inside.

It is expected the Purcell's character will be emphasized as someone driven with obsessions but not necessarily desiring to be evil. This is completely something that fans of the upcoming series will look forward to aside from the modern special effects expected to bring every character to life. Heat Wave is a Rogues member, a group led by Captain Cold in the DC Comics universe.

With Wentworth Miller taking the role of Captain Cold in the comic book drama series, this is definitely a reunion worth watching out for.

Miller, who controversially came out as gay in August 2013, was cast in the upcoming CW TV series as Captain Cold in July. His character debuts on the show's fourth episode. There are also rumors saying that Purcell's Heat Wave character will initially be mentioned on the same episode.

Interestingly, other "Prison Break" alums like Robert Knepper and Peter Stormare will also be featured in the CW TV series. Knepper will return with the same role for "The Flash" while Stormare will play the role of Count Vertigo for the "Arrow/Flash" crossover episodes. It will happen on the eight episodes of both shows and will last for two hours.

"The Flash" TV series will revolve around Barry Allen--an assistant police forensic investigator who gets into an odd accident from which he gets his super speedy powers.

It will premiere on October 7 via the CW network at 8 p.m. Catch the trailer below.
