According to PC Mag, Sony has taken the wraps off by donning "a ton of new additions" to its Xperia line. Of course, the Xperia Z3 is perhaps the most anticipated of them all, but Sony knows that Z3 Compact and Tablet will likewise spur interest upon display.

We have a smartphone and tablets displayed, but when is the actual release? T-Mobile said that Xperia Z3 comes available on T-Mobile this fall - a diversion from Sony's previous release of the predecessor Z2 which arrived in the US a little later.

PC Mag notes that this will be Sony's first time to have a smartphone available both in the US and the world at the same time. This sounds fair to US Sony fanatics, and somehow proves that the company takes the American electronics market seriously.

So what does the Z3 actually offer? Expect the flagship smartphone to include a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM, which should make phone work swift. Another promising specification is the smartphone's Battery Stamina Mode which turns off background functions when not in use--saving energy. PC Mag noted that this feat actually gives up to two days of battery life.

But what could possibly bring Z3 to advantage is its possession of the highest waterproof rating for Sony in history-- an IP68 certification. This makes the smartphone waterproof up to 8 feet deep and "dust tight." Samsung Galaxy S5 is less tough as it carries an IP67 rate.

As for the Z3 Compact, it appears to be a smaller version of the Z3 smartphone. It has a 2GB RAM and plays by the 4.6 -nch length and the 4.6-ounce weight. Screen resolution is at 720p, yet visual remains detailed.

The Z3 Tablet Compact is more of the same--only resized to an 8-inch screen version. Now if this bores users, the Z3 Tablet Compact prides of being "compact" indeed by weighing just like air. It's about ¼ of an inch (6.4 mm) in thickness and weighs 9.5 ounces (0.6 lbs). It's just as waterproof as the smartphone.

Engadget specified that the Sony Z3 Tablet Compact has a 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, an 8.1-megapixel rear camera and a 2.2-megapixel front shooter. It runs a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor.

In addition, it'll last users an impressive 13 hours of nonstop video playback.

If all these things from Sony get you craving just for more, might as well see the 2014 IFA Berlin livestream here. See list of exhibitors here.
