EA Sports comes back with a more promising "NBA Live 15," with Damian Lillard starring the trailer. Its predecessor, "NBA Live 14," received a generally bad feedback. A fresh start would not hurt this time, as the latest installment is seen to be at par with its current competitor, "NBA 2K15."

"NBA Live 14" basically went flat and is described by Game Rant as "the worst EA Sports release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has also been the most widely scrutinized full retail game of the new console generation."

This sounds pretty terrible, knowing that the game was EA Sports' most-awaited comeback in three long years. Gamers are happy to see that EA Sports is not discouraged after all.

"NBA Live 15" has its game centered on animation and characterization. The graphics department is definitely not lacking, with EA Sports utilizing all-new scanning and lightning techniques that give the most photo-realistic player models, with specific body types and contextual emotional responses.

Movement is central to appeal as the game boasts about real-time physics. Included in this feature are over 100 new animations that "make it possible for something unpredictable and amazing to happen on every play".

Upgraded is the system's scoring, as 3x the variety of dunks, layups and signature shots can now be delivered. Game Rant likewise noted that EA Sports hopes the "NBA Live 15"'s next-gen animation, player likenesses, and backgrounds "will be enough to draw gamers in."

Ultra-Responsive controls are yet another feature, and these enable the player to pass, shoot, and dribble much easier. There is also an all-new shot feedback system, as well as enhancements to bounceTek.

Other features of the game include a smarter AI, smooth transitioning, easier defensive systems and control simplicity, personal coaching from Lillard, new Hot Spot Challenges, and finally, the Live Ultimate Team.

Given these highlights, can the title competently battle it out with 2K Sports' game? Game Rant said that the latter's series has been the long-runner, banner-holder for the NBA. But VG 24/7 noted that "NBA Live" only took its rest period so that it could come back strong enough to face "NBA 2K."

GameSpot reported that "NBA 2K15" promises "new animations" and "new crowd elements" in its trailer. The teaser features Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder forward.

Two competing NBA game trailers are out - which side are you on? Can "NBA Live 15" make it out this time or will "NBA 2K15" still reign? Cast your verdict below!
