Robert Pattinson may soon be out of the single and ready to mingle crowd as the Brit actor is often spotted hanging out with singer, Tahliah Barnett, more popularly known as FKA Twigs.

Friends of the two shared with E! Online that Pattinson is attracted to FKA Twigs, but they're still in the getting to know each other stage.

They were first seen last month in New York, along with another friend, identified as Tom Sturridge, added E! Online. 

Another source told US Magazine that the 26-year-old singer is equally attracted to the 28-year-old actor. They were reportedly introduced through their common friends.

For some of you who may not know FKA Twigs, she is not your usual musician. In an interview with The Guardian, she explained why it is important for her to have her own identity in the music industry especially during the "bizarre time in the world, where you can be so famous, so elevated, but none of it is your own vision." Kylie Minogue's former backup dancer has just released her album, LP1, and it has since garnered favorable reviews from critics. 

Nabil Elderkin, the director of FKA Twigs' new video, "Two Weeks" have nothing but good words for the rising singer. He told The Guardian: "I like that she knows what she wants. She doesn't sacrifice anything for popularity, she just comes in and does it her own way. That's how some of the best artists today work: Kanye West, Bon Iver, James Blake, Frank Ocean. And twigs is exactly the same thing. She has imagination and art and puts it out how she wants. She's in control of that 100%." 

Perhaps, FKA Twigs' approach to music got the attention of Pattinson, who is a music lover himself.

Kristen Stewart's former flame has composed his own music and he had a chance to sing one of the songs featured in the "Twilight" movie soundtrack, US Weekly recalled.

Stewart and Pattinson broke up after her highly publicized "momentary indiscretion" with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders. 

After Pattinson's breakup with his "Breaking Dawn" co-star, the young actor was romantically linked with other names like indie artist Imogen Heap and model Dylan Penn, the daughter of actors Sean Penn and Robin Wright, US Weekly added.

On the other hand, Kristen Stewart is also rumored to be dating her latest co-star, Nicholas Hoult, who is the ex-boyfriend of "Hunger Games" star, Jennifer Lawrence.

But Celeb Dirty Laundry claims that Stewart is not that happy with reports that Pattinson has already moved on from their romantic past. But nothing has been confirmed official yet.

In Pattinson's interview with Esquire UK, he answered with a laugh when asked about his past romance with Stewart.

"Sh*t happens, you know? It's just young people... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a sh*t?"
