"The Sims 4" is out today, September 2, to bring about another era of creative simulation that hooks gamers as if it is their second life.

Created by EA Games, the new version promises players the power to become ultimate creators. Its digital deluxe tagline teases, "Create new Sims with intelligence and emotion. Experience all new intuitive and fun creative tools to sculpt your Sims and build unique homes. Control the mind, body, and heart of your Sims, and bring your stories to life."

"The Sims 4" reveals its highlights, which include "Sims with big personalities," "new possibilities," "powerful creative tools," "vibrant neighborhoods," and the option to "share your creations."

A list of recommended system requirements is shared by PC Gamer to enable smooth playing:

  • And of course, keyboard and mouse

Guardian Liberty Voice reported that previous Sims gamers had been creating their Sims for hours, primarily due to the unlimited options provided. This time, a new feature will be introduced - the new, in-depth "Create-A-Sim" mode which allows players to create their Sims even longer.

The source also noted that the new feature enables gamers mold their characters into desired forms and into whatever shape and size. Clicking, dragging, and molding can be done. This is clearly an innovation from the previous Sims that typically held pre-made customizations, where one can only choose from variety. The player's creative pursuit of a distinctive Sim character can definitely manifest in this latest version.

Another feature to get excited about is the new building mode, which increases the player's freedom to create customized rooms through clicking and dragging furniture and items. GameSpot added that the Buy mode in "The Sims 4" still catalogs items by function or room type.

Without causing changes to surrounding rooms, the idea of having to build a home becomes much easier for this version. Again, this is a major leap from the previous installments that had options to simply layout and create tedious foundation.

But there's more than just being creative, as "The Sims 4" likewise allows Sims to become expressive through interactive emotions that belt out their statuses as they are for the moment. This makes Sims get into more socially intimate characterizations.

But what makes this even more interesting is the fact that a Sim's emotion does not go to waste. GameSpot explained the new feature, saying:

"For example, hitting the nightclub for a few glasses of juice put my Sim in a flirty mood, which increased the success rate of her attempts to hit on other Sims. Later at home, my Sim found her spirits lifted in a refreshing shower. Emerging inspired, she would go on to receive a boost in her efforts to learn to play the guitar."
