Rumor mills are churning out another release date for the South Korean tech giant's flagship device.

Gamer Headlines and Christian Today claimed that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S6 on April, 2015. Both outlets are hinging on the latest rumors about the smartphone which allegedly point to a Q1-Q2 2015 release date.

It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy S6 might see the light of day on March, 2015 just like its predecessors which were revealed during the annual Mobile Word Congress event.

There's still a few more months to go before the alleged release date but those who are waiting are already in for a great preview of specs and features of the smartphone.

Samsung has not yet confirmed anything about the upcoming device but several sources have spilled all the juicy details.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumored to be overhauled in the looks department, said Tech Radar. The smartphone will reportedly ditch plastic for metal - making the S6 look and feel like a premium device.

A bigger screen is also in the works. The Samsung Galaxy S5 sports a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution. The upcoming S6 could measure 5.2 or even 5.5 inches - pitting it against the alleged larger model of rival iPhone 6.

Street Wise Tech said that the next-generation Samsung Galaxy S could also have a flexible and bendable body. The company has previously released a curved phone - the Samsung Galaxy Round. The smartphone has a "bowed screen and back," described CNet. The Galaxy Round was primarily marketed in Korea so a curved and flexible S6 massively released in the U.S. could be a first from Samsung.

Under the hood, Samsung's flagship device could have a Snapdragon 808 processor, added Tech Radar. However, if the company is looking to ship out the S6 with 4K display, an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 with Adreno 430 GPU is said to be in order, said the outlet.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is alleged to run on the upcoming Android 5.0 L, said Christian Today. Also known as Android Lollipop, the next-generation OS could be released sometime during fall of 2014, Android Origin said.

"This is purely speculation though. It could take Google until December 20th before they release Android L and it would still land within their projected fall release date," added Android Origin.
