The Jonas Brothers canceled their 2013 tour days before it started.
Us Weekly confirmed the bitter news that the October-November tour of the famous brothers in 19 cities is canceled. The tour was supposed to start this Friday. The Jonas Brothers' website said that those who have already bought a ticket can get a refund.
Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, may go on their separate ways now due to disagreement over their different tastes in music. The band's spokesman, Jesse Derris, told Us that "there is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction."
According to TMZ, the rift happened as the band was discussing about the next batch of songs that they will be releasing. The three Jonas have different opinions on the music and genre that they like to pursue. Notably, the three have agreed that releasing anything new at this time when they aren't really on the same page could be a disaster and would be a cause for their music to be all over the place.
The cancellation of the tour may be a precursor to an official breakup of the band; however, no official decision has been made.
TMZ also cited unnamed sources saying that the members are meeting this weekend to try and patch things up.
The report saddened many Jonas Brothers' fans worldwide upon learning that the band may be breaking apart. Right now, the brothers are taking a hiatus. The future of the band "remains to be seen" according to Derris.
