Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier wasn't just one of the biggest films of the year, it was one of the best--and one of Marvel's best films to date. And that's saying something when you consider the hits Marvel has had with films like the first Iron Man film and The Avengers. And with the success of any big franchise film, a sequel can't be far away, right? Right. Marvel greenlighted 'Winter Soldier's' sequel before the film even released; that's how much faith they have in the film's directors, Anthony and Joe Russo. The film doesn't have a title yet, but Marvel has already slated Captain America 3 for a May 6, 2016 release.

The guys over at Collider actually sat down with the Russo's and asked them all sorts of question about 'Winter Solider' and the state of production on its unnamed sequel. The interview was part of a press junket for the release of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier on Blu-ray. Among other things, the brothers revealed that Cap's next film will begin shooting in Atlanta early next year, and they also dish on how involved Marvel was in the next film's script. Apparently Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige pitched the Russo's on an idea for the third Captain American film that he'd had in mind for a long time.

There's also some news of a certain Avenger maybe joining Cap this time around. Yep. Apparently Hawkeye might be helping Steve Rogers out as he battles H.Y.D.R.A. agents. The Russo's also talk about just how much Hawkeye we can expect to see in the new film. The film's script has been in development for sometime, and the brothers talk about just how much it has changed since February of this year. You can watch the interview over on Collider.com and see Anthony and Joe also talk about when we can expect an announcement re: the film's title, more insight into who is the Winter Soldier, the return of Crossbones and a whole lot more. Make sure to check it out!
