As if her stellar string of knockout wins weren't enough violence, Ronda Rousey allegedly broke the ribs of her "Expendables 3" director with a punch.

In an interview with Hitflix, director Patrick Hughes said:

"I remember the first thing we shot with Ronda, I actually got beaten up. Ronda's first time ever on camera was the scene with Sly at a bar, and she's really super-nervous. I went up and said, 'Well, what do you do before a big fight?' And she says, 'I like to spar in my room. I get that nervous energy out.' And I said, 'So you need to hit something? Let's find something to hit.' And she said, 'But I want to hit you.' She was like, 'Put your arms up.' And I'm thinking, 'Ronda's just going to do this.' put my hands up, and she goes WHAM! Next day, I was getting dressed and my kids were there at the time - my 7-year-old daughter said 'What's that?' And I had this huge black mark. I had a broken rib. And I said, 'I got beaten up by an actress.'"

Rousey dismissed the idea saying the director "didn't have a broken rib! I didn't hit anything hard," she also told Hitflix. She said Hughes actually had a broken rib beforehand although she gave him a punch "to kick off the film in the UFC way," Fox Sports added.

The movie came out weeks ago and the numbers haven't been great, but Rousey did well, Fox Sports observed. The gig came with prominent roles in films such as "Fast & Furious 7" and "Entourage," but according to the New York Post, her Expendables starrer went down the drain because too many people--pegged at 2 million plus--downloaded the leaked versions.

The movie, which borrowed Eminem's hostile rap by using his "Berzerk" track for its official theme song, teams Rousey up with action stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes. Also in the movie are Kellan Lutz, Glen Powell and Kelsey Grammer and her fellow in contact sports, Victor Ortiz. Here's the trailer:

Meanwhile, Stallone told fans in Macao that he plans to film "Expendables 4" in Asia, CNTV said. He also plans to get the services of Jackie Chan, "Asia's most wanted action star," it added.
