"Fancy" singer, Iggy Azalea, was in her element during an MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert for Lifebeat - Music Fights HIV/AIDS. However, things got out of hand and she fell off stage, shocking the audience at The Avalon.

But the young hitmaker didn't mind the accident and she was assisted back on stage by security guards. As if nothing happened, she delivered an amazing number with Charli XCX and finished the performance with flying colors, reported Fox News.

Despite the embarrassing situation, the 24-year-old singer appeared to be a good sport. She posted a clip of her stage fall over her Instagram account and captioned it with: "I know I laughed."

The Vulture got a closer look at the fall through a certain Vine account, possibly uploaded by someone in the audience who was closer to the stage.

Iggy is not the first celebrity who has encountered such a terrible and sometimes, horrifying fall. President Gerald Ford slipped on a plane's stairs, Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams also fell during a "Soldier" performance alongside Kelly Rowland and Beyonce, and of course, Jennifer Lawrence, falls while climbing the stairs to receive her Oscars trophy.

Meanwhile, Izzy was nominated in several categories at the 2014 Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Art Direction. Ariana Grande won the Best Pop Video award for the song, "Problem" featuring Izzy.  

Izzy arrived at the event and walked the red carpet with boyfriend Nick Young. She rocked a long flaring silver Versace gown without forgetting to show some skin and a quick glimpse of her impressive abs, stated Hollywood Life.

Many were impressed with the way she carried her dress as it flaunted her hourglass physique. She topped off her look with a stunning diamond necklace and simple makeup, Hollywood Life added.

Iggy also showed utmost chemistry with Rita Ora when they performed their collaborative track "Black Widow" from her album, "The New Classic" on the MTV VMA stage. The two sported matching bodysuits and performed together against a web designed stage after being introduced by Latina artist Jennifer Lopez.
