Negative emotions just became good, basing on a recent event involving Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent.

"Bad blood could possibly be good for charity," the Los Angeles Times said, alluding to a Thursday update by rapper 50 Cent on his Instagram account--a "special ASL/ESL Challenge" that, in the end, had nothing to do with the Ice Bucket Challenge craze by the ALS Association.

With a white bucket of ice water in the background, the rapper challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr. to read a page of a "Harry Potter" novel aloud without mistakes, the report said.

"If you gon' read one full page of a Harry Potter book n****, I'll give $750,000 to whatever charity organization you want to," 50 Cent said, to more than 200,000 likes. The boxer has to post a proof on social media, the LA Times said.

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, then dumped the bucket of water on the yard saying, "Fuck the bucket of ice man."--so no #icebucketchallenge there.

The rapper "packed in a lot," Fox Sports said. It's one in a series of Mayweather trolls on the rapper's Instagram account, it added.

And 50 Cent just made it easier, saying in an Instagram video hours later that Jimmy Kimmel agreed to have Mayweather on his show reading a page from "Dr. Seuss' Cat in a Hat" because "we know we can't pronounce those words in the Harry Potter book."

The rapper and Mayweather were business partners until a falling out, the LA Times report said. The mutual bashing on social media began there, with Mayweather saying in his latest attack that hip-hop artists don't last as long as him in popularity, it added.

"What's so crazy is this: You know, when people are not relevant, and they're not moving units like they were once moving ... you've got to realize, I've been relevant for 18 years," Mayweather said, as quoted by M Live Thursday.

"God has blessed me with an unbelievable talent, with fast feet, fast hands, unbelievable defense and a very, very sharp mind. So I'm thankful for that. Of course, hip-hop artists, they come and go. They come and go. But I'm still here," he also said.

Mayweather has been in conflict with many rappers, Deadspin said, explaining that other than 50 Cent, he has T.I. and Nelly. When 50 Cent heard that comment, he made a reply on Instagram, which is summed up by a dirty finger in the last frame.

The 39-year-old rapper "has taken much delight" in making fun of Mayweather, 37, Page Six said. In the video, he even reminded the undefeated fighter that Shantel Jackson, his ex-fiancee, left him for Nelly.

50 Cent did say "No pressure"--and, if that's too much, he might also want to do the Ice Bucket Challenge instead.
