After the recently leaked photos of Ben Affleck on set of the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie, news broke out that the actor suffered an injury while filming one of the scenes. 

The 42-year-old "Argo" actor has been reported by Star Magazine to have suffered an injury on his left shoulder. The validity of the claim is supported with a behind-the-scene capture which shows the actor conversing with a person who could pass for a doctor.

The actor who is portraying the dual roles of an aged Bruce Wayne and Batman, was also speculated to have caused delays of the comic movie's filming months ago. The rumors stated that he got injured during a skiing scene but it was further denied by a Warner Bros. representative, reported Screenrant.

The good news is that Affleck is spotted working again on set. However, he has been medically advised to take it easy on the stunts. This could mean more Bruce Wayne acting instead of the more physically challenging scenes of the Caped Crusader.

IBTimes added that according to a movie source, the "Gone Girl" actor was hurt pretty badly but still gives his all into the highly coveted role portrayed by some of the most popular A-listers in Hollywood like Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale.

At the moment, not much of the movie's plot or trailer has been officially released yet. The teaser preview was shown during the latest comic con but the organizers prohibited attendees from capturing it via handsets or any other gadget. The more intricate details for its plot remain under wraps - leaving fans guessing on who between two of the greatest superheroes of all time will emerge victorious.

According to Christian Post, an extra, who claims to have been on the set for ten days, shared that the end of the movie has already been finished.

"One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten a hold of General Zod's body," the extra said in his words.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
