Beats Electronics President and COO Luke Wood confirmed that HTC One Max is getting Beats this fall.

Wood confirmed, in an interview conducted and published by Stuff.tv, that Beats is working on "several new devices" including a "large format HTC device". The article assumed that the device that Wood is pertaining to is HTC's phablet - HTC One Max.

Wood said that the company is still friends despite Beats bought back all of HTC's shares in the company. HTC still owns 25 percent of investment in the company. Wood also added that Beats has a commercial partnership with HTC. Thus, the two companies will continue to partner up in the future.

Meanwhile, GottaBeMobile said that HTC One Max is pegged to arrive in late October bringing in 5.9-inch Full HD screen display; a quad-core processor; an Ultrapixel camera; Android 4.3 Jelly Bean; and Sense 5.5 UI.

The report also added that HTC One Max will come with a fingerprint sensor just like the iPhone 5S although details about this are scarce.

HTC One Max will battle head on with Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The latter costs $299 after signing a two year contract with a carrier. It will not be surprising that HTC One Max will cost $50 less.

HTC has yet to fully disclosed the details of HTC One Max.
