Traveller's Tales has announced additional characters and a new level for the game at Gamescom.

Game Rant reported that "LEGO Batman3: Beyond Gotham" will have a cast bigger than that of "DC Comics." Below are the newly-announced characters courtesy of We Got This Covered:

Supergirl

Dick Grayson

Sinestro

Gorilla Grodd

Harley Quinn

Beast Boy

Black Manta

Doomsday

Catwoman

Frankenstein

Star Girl

John Stewart

Shazam

Black Manta, according to Comic Book Movie, will come as a returning playable character. "An archenemy of Aquaman, this sea-dwelling supervillain previously appeared in the second 'LEGO Batman' game, 'LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes,' albeit with a slightly different appearance," added the outlet.

Game Rant said that most of the character additions are of the "unlockable type," making them non-playable during the story campaign.

In addition to new characters being announced, Traveller's Tales also took the opportunity to unveil a new level for the game, Odym, Game Rant said.

Odym is reportedly a "mystery world," said We Got This Covered and "the Blue Lantern Corps' home planet," Game Rant noted.

Super Hero Hype described the Traveller's Tales title as below:

"In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the Caped Crusader joins forces with the super heroes of the DC Comics Universe and blasts off to outer space to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying Earth. Using the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe. Now the greatest super heroes and the most cunning villains must unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it's too late."

Being a LEGO game, the title's gameplay will be the same as previous reiterations, said Gaming Bolt. This means that the game will "see the player traverse a number of game environments and collect the various types of Lego Studs while combating enemies with a selection of heroes," the outlet noted.

"LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" will be available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, iOS and OS X by fall of 2014 though there is no specific release date yet.
