Olivia Munn can now boast her own "The Girl from Ipanema" iteration, after learning from country singer-songwriter Brad Paisley himself that she inspired the song "Cover Girl."
In a tweet on August 1, she related how ecstatic she was to find out about her influence on the new song, Just Jared reported. She even implored the Twittersphere to listen to it, posting the two-minuter preview's link.
The song talks about a girl who was initially spotted by a Vogue editor on a photo in a newspaper and one who has shot to fame from there.
"The editor of Vogue rolls through town, sees that picture, tracks you down, and next thing you know, they're gonna put you on the cover girl," the song goes.
"...There's paparazzi outside your house and peace and quiet are gone now... Red carpet, you're looking hot and I think I'm too but I guess I'm not 'Cause it's 'Hey, hey Paisley, get out of the shot as the cameras flash," the song also says.
One heartwrenching change that comes with the fame is that the lady in the song had to leave town, and the admirer singing the song.
The act is reportedly part of his "rogue" chapter in the industry, Tampa Bay Times said. He is going to launch his 11th album, "Moonshine in the Trunk"--which contains the song--in a pool party, it added, not without noting that he had already leaked the samples of the songs in the lineup on Twitter before the album is out on August 26.
The 41-year-old declared the move, now known as #leakingmoonshine, July 26, and he has posted bits of the songs on the social media platform without seeking approval from management, the report explained.
He successfully had Ludacris, Colt Ford and Bobby Bones post the links, the report noted, all so that Sony can't take the clips down. Meanwhile, other than Munn, the singer's wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Carrie Underwood, among others, have already shared "Cover Girl" on the Internet.
Munn, on the other hand, is "one of the most browsed women on the Internet" and her beauty is "something that many men on social media enjoy discussing on a daily basis," Fans Share said. She reportedly has a growing following which would obviously include her current boyfriend, National Football League star Aaron Rodgers, and, well, Paisley.
Munn has completed taping the HBO series "The Newsroom," to which she owes her current Hollywood stature, Fans Share reported. She plays economics expert Sloan Sabbith, who has stunning looks and business knowledge.
Fans can catch her as "Jen" in the crime/horror thriller "Deliver Us from Evil," it added. She is currently busy filming for her movie "Ride Along 2."
She will be in "Mortdecai," in February next year, it also said. The movie is an action comedy revolving around art dealer Charles Mortdecai, played by Johnny Depp.
