Many hardcore Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez fans must be heart broken over the seemingly final split between the two lovebirds. One person who is definitely happy that the romance fizzled is none other than country singer, Taylor Swift.

The 24-year-old blonde, Selena's BFF, is reportedly happy that her 22-year-old buddy has come to her senses and has finally moved on from a relationship she didn't approve of. HollywoodLife.com reported exclusively that the "22" singer is not only "proud" of Selena but she's also "relieved" that Selena dumped Justin, 20, and was the one who called it quits.

"Taylor and Selena have been talking a lot more now that Justin is out of the picture," said an insider to HollywoodLife.com. "She's so relieved that Selena finally came to her senses and dumped Justin. She is so proud of Selena and how's she's been handling the break-up."

It was previously reported by the site that following the end of Selena's Justin phase, Taylor has tried to play matchmaker by setting up the "Come & Get It" singer with other guys. Taylor was so proud of how "Selena didn't come crying to Taylor when she broke up with Justin" and has since been very supportive.

Last Sunday, Selena received the highest honor during the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. The "Ultimate Choice Award" winner, the youngest in history, seems to have taken a jab at her ex.

The Hollywood Gossip surmises that Selena's remark about how things have been hard "especially this month" was definitely about Bieber. She says in her speech, "I cannot thank you guys enough, amidst all this stuff that we deal with. I'm not trying to preach or any of that, it's just that you guys make me better."

The site noted that Justin and Selena's relationship has been on-and-off, but these last few weeks, Justin's been partying non-stop with models and he nearly got into a fist-fight with 37-year-old actor, Orlando Bloom, supposedly over Selena and Miranda Kerr.

While we will never know exactly what happened between the two pop stars, HollywoodLife.com also dished that, "Selena and Taylor will start working on a breakup song together! After all, Taylor is well-known for those types of catchy tunes."
