John Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, have stood strong against the actor's gay sex scandal rumors, as they were spotted attending a Scientology event recently.

The two, who have been married for more than 25 years, were all smiles when they attended the Church of Scientology's 45^th anniversary held in L.A., reports Radar Online.

It was hard to imagine how the two could go out public, looking happy and worry-free when three days before the event, the speculated ex-boyfriend of the "Grease" actor revealed he will come up with a tell-all-book soon.

The shocking part about it is that the pilot, Doug Gotterba, plans to reveal all the intimate details of his alleged six year affair with the Hollywood action star.

Travolta is one of the many celebrities in Hollywood who has been practicing Scientology since 1975. He recognizes the role of the religion in his life, as he claims that it has helped him enjoy a great marriage through the application of L. Ron Hubbard's technology to that aspect of his life.

"I would say that Scientology put me into the big time," the 60-year-old actor said.

As for the "Pulp Fiction" actor's current challenges as he faces former pilot, Gotterba, Independent UK reports that the now 62-year-old pilot won the rights to reveal all that he has to say about his alleged past relationship with Travolta.

The legal documents filed at California's Court of Appeal mention that Gotterba worked for the aircraft company of the "Saturday Night Fever" star for a total of six years before leaving on voluntary terms back in 1987. In the same year, Travolta met his wife, Preston, during the filming of "The Experts."

Travolta tied the knot with Preston in 1991 and together, they have three children.

In a slideshow Radar made out of the photos Gotterba shared during his interview with The Enquirer, it showed how the two used to hang out together often. The shocking revelations of the pilot on why he decided to put a stop on their affair was also detailed.

Gotterba shared that he was allegedly seduced by the actor when he was going through an interview to land the job as a pilot. He described Travolta as "gentle" and "passionate."

However, the alleged insatiable sex drive of John Travolta is the reason why he was pushed to go for a split in 1987.
