The upcoming MacBook Pro 2013 will sport a new design and enhanced features, according to reports.

Japanese website Macotakara reports that Apple suppliers are ready to deliver the components of the laptop in October.

MacBook Pro 2013 release date is imminent as the tech giant Apple quietly announced a new line of iMacs. The new iMac is packed with the latest Intel core processor - Haswell - a new GPU, wifi receivers and faster storage options. The specs of the new desktop computers also hints on the possible features of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2013.

Moreover, alleged benchmarks of the MacBook Pro 2013 leaked online last week. According to the leaked info, the MacBook Pro 2013 will also pack the new Intel Haswell processor, Thunderbolt 2 GPU, 4K screen resolution and a longer battery life.

It is also expected that the MacBook Pro 2013 will come with the new OS X Mavericks, which was announced last June at the Worldwide Developers' Conference. Some of the new features will include multiple-monitor support, power-user features in Finder, a faster Safari, Maps and iBooks apps, and a redesigned Calendar application.

MacBook Pro 2013 release date is expected to take place on October 15 alongside other Apple products - iPad 5, iPad Mini 2 and OS X Mavericks. French Web site MacGeneration says that the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning a special event on October 15. It is also the site that sparked rumours of the MacBook Pro 2013 being released on the said date.

So far, the Cupertino-based company has not commented on the rumours about its roadmap and future devices.
