A major detail has just been discovered regarding the forthcoming Moto 360 Android Wear watch. Weeks prior to the official release of the smartwatch, images were leaked by Mister Gadget aka Luca Viscardi which gives a first hand look at the wireless charger feature of the wearable device.

The Italian site shows photos of the watch and how it fits on the Moto 360 dock in what appears to be a wireless charging capacity. Per the analysis of Gigaom, "the implementation looks much better than that of the Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch."

The site noted that wireless charging is not an entirely shocking feature of the watch as there were no power input areas for cables - making it the only logical solution. However, what was not known was how Motorola may go about implementing it.

"The Moto 360 looks to fit on its dock in a way that shows the time like a desk clock. It also shows the charge level as an almost circular meter around the watch's face; it's 'almost' circular because a small portion of the Moto 360's round display is used for the display digitizer connection," continued the analysis.

Many smart device users, especially Apple users, have continuously complained about the quality of charging cables and how quickly they break due to constant use. This may be the practical niche Motorola needs to gain a competitive advantage over rivals.

The way the device faces up could mean another practical function for the watch where it could have been designed keeping a bedside alarm in mind as it charges, surmised TrustedReviews.com.

Other details revealed about the device, via droid-life.com include the following:

Water-resistant - The Moto 360 is water-resistant with an IP67 rating and comes with stainless steel with sensors to reveal optical heart rate and function as a pedometer.

Enhanced batter performance - Mr. Gadget's reveal informed the public that the device is set to come packed with a major batter boost allowing it to run a full 2.5x more than the LG G Watch. That equates to about 2.5 days on a single full charge.

Graphics and resolution - It was also revealed that sunlight proves to be a minor visibility issue. Reviewing the display quality, Mr Gadget, through droid-life wrote: "The display is legible in ‘extreme' sunlight but, above all else, it has unequal (meaning better) color than the products from Samsung and LG (Gear and G Watch)."
