"Gilmore Girls" actress, Alexis Bledel, has secretly married "Mad Men" star, Vincent Kartheiser. 

According to a People.com report, the couple tied the knot in California in June, Bledel's rep confirmed.

Bledel and Kartheiser, People added, have always been a private couple and their recent secret wedding is enough proof of that. This is a first marriage for both stars who met on the "Mad Men" set, when Bedel guest-starred on the show and portrayed the character of Beth Dawes.

Kartheiser's nterview with Vulture, published in April 2014, gave several revealing information about the couple's very private relationship.

Kartheiser told the publication that he and Bledel only started dating when the fifth season of the show finished shooting. "We were completely professional. We never saw each other out. We never-it was nothing, it was just work."

But it was easy for the other "Mad Men" stars to see that the couple are meant for each other.

Jon Hamm also told Vulture that he knew Kartheiser liked Bledel right from the beginning. "I was a supporter of that union," the actor added. Matthew Weiner, the "Mad Men" creator, also had some good things to say about the couple, and it was included in the Vulture interview

"Honestly, they're a really good match. They're both very down-to-earth, with a sense of responsibility and strong family ties. And they've been acting since before they can remember, which makes for a very special personality. It's not just that I thought they would look cute together," Weiner explained.

Elizabeth Moss, was also vocal about her admiration for her co-stars, as well.

"They are such a yin and yang. I've known Vinny for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I've never seen Vincent like this. It's really cool," the "Girl, Interrupted" actress told People..

Alexis Bledel used to be in a long term relationship with Milo Ventimiglia, one of her co-stars in the hit series, "Gilmore Girls," where she got her own shot to fame. They were together for almost four years. Kartheiser, on the other hand, used to date actress, Rachael Leigh Cook, back in 1998.
