Justin Bieber is in the news again, but this time he's not the villain. Bieber and actor Orlando Bloom got into a scuffle last weekend that resulted in Bloom throwing a couple haymakers. Reportedly, Bieber quickly panicked and ducked behind his bodyguards but not before cameras were able to capture the moment.

Onlooker Anastasia Skolkova relayed her story of the events to Mirror. "When Orlando punched Bieber, everyone started clapping," Skolkova said. "Lindsay was laughing. It was amazing. The whole table he and DiCaprio were clapping. Afterwards, I don't know if people were congratulating Orlando or trying to calm him down," she said.

Sources close to Bloom say that the altercation was caused by a comment that Bieber made about Bloom's ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. "Orlando had heard that there had been some flirting going on and he wasn't exactly over the moon about it, in fact he was furious," the source said.

"At the time of the split it was certainly one of the motivations. He was, and still is, very cross about all of this. He can't believe that someone he regards as a silly little boy has had this impact on his relationship. He is absolutely fuming."

Bieber allegedly claimed that Miranda Kerr "vowed to make me a man," after they first met at a Victoria Secret fashion show. After the fight, Bieber posted a provocative picture of Kerr on Twitter that was quickly deleted.

Hollywood is quickly picking sides between 'Team Bloom' and "Team Bieber.' Stephen Colbert wasted no time bashing Bieber saying, "It was his first hit in years." Colbert's guest, James Franco seconded the notion.

Guardians of the Galaxy star, Chris Pratt, told hip-hop station Shade 45, "How embarrassing to get punched by Orlando Bloom! Like of all the people you get punched by, it's Orlando Bloom?"

I'd rather get farted on by David Hasselhoff than punched by Orlando Bloom," Pratt said.

It remains to be seen whether the Bloom punch will start a trend of standing up to Justin Bieber. It's amazing that this is the first time such a scuffle has ever happened.
