Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, known for their on and off relationship, has called it quits again, according to recent rumors spreading online.

According to the New York Daily News, the two stars' extremely busy work schedules was the reason for their breakup.

Last week, the "Hunger Games" actress was spotted in L.A. doing a shoot for her Vanity Fair magazine cover while her rumored now ex-boyfriend, Nicholas, was seen filming a new movie in Tokyo.

Gossip media sites cannot be controlled from throwing out their speculations on the real reason behind the reported Jennifer and Nicholas split.

Pedestrian.TV wrote that Nicholas was seen taking his latest co-star and "Twilight" actress, Kristen Stewart, for a sushi lunch in Tokyo. Another third party gossip linked to the breakup buzz is when he was seen last week chatting with Riley Keough during a party in New York.

On another note, Celebrity Fix claims that one possible reason could be that the actor wants to stay out of the limelight that his superstar girlfriend is enjoying. Such gossips are saying that the "American Hustle" actress has an "exploded ego" and that their personalities crash.

Reports say Nicholas is a quiet and simple person while J-Law is more of the type who loves attention.

Meanwhile, the photograph showing Hoult and Stewart spending time at a sushi bar was taken by a fellow diner named as @turducken09. He captioned the photo: "Had the best sushi breky this morning at Daiwa in Tsukiji Fish Market w/ famous peeps. #kristenstewart #nicholashoult."

However, the controversial post was eventually taken down by the user as it cannot be viewed anymore, but many other gossips sites have already preserved the image.

The two were dressed in casual attires, perhaps, to maintain a low profile in the public place.

Kristen is also living the single life after having parted with her famous "Twilight" co-star and British actor, Robert Pattinson. She was involved in a cheating scandal with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders two years ago.

Hollywood Life recalls how J-Law and Nicholas started dating in 2010 when they filmed "X-Men: First Class." But they separated in January 2013 and reconnected after having finished filming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in July 2013.

Now it is still too early to tell whether Jennifer and Nicholas have indeed parted ways. They will start filming for the next "X-Men: Apocalypse" in the summer of next year
