Former Giants player Michael Strahan got his gold hall of fame jacket from the NFL, but not without a little of his personal business being splashed across the tabloids. The "Live With Kelly and Michael," star made it public he was breaking off another relationship -- this time an engagement from Nicole Murphy, who is also the ex-wife of actor and comedian Eddie Murphy.

But what's special about this moment for the former NFL player who had the 5th most sacks of any player in history is the fact he's not as old as other inductees.

"In some ways, Strahan's induction will lack the poignancy that has defined many other athletes' entrances into halls of fame," reports the New York Times. "Unlike the players who take the stage looking a little grayer and a little heavier after years out of the spotlight, Strahan has never really left it since he retired in June 2008."

Strahan has been busy, all over television, from sports show to breakfast television morning programs. He's helped keep the show "Live!" in the top ranks of morning ratings. As he's become more well-known for his stunts on TV and his otherwise likeable personality, it's important to know that this hall of famer is also fun to watch.

Here are some of his best moments on his morning show, so far.

That time his then-finacee Murphy dished on the top-10 annoying things about him. Talk about having your most embarrassing qualities aired on television.

Strahan did a great job dressing up as tennis champ Serena Williams in this bit.

A buff dude like Mr. Strahan had no problem in this wife-carry challenge. He looked like he was having a blast.

We know Strahan knows his way around the gridiron. But he didn't back down from a challenge from WWE wrestling champ John Cena the day he took him on in arm wrestling.

You wouldn't expect such a big man to be afraid of a little snake, but it was hilarious how Strahan nearly jumps out of his skin when Hayden Panettiere shows her pet snake.

According to the Star-Ledger, Strahan was engaged to Murphy for five years. "They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," the newspaper reported a spokesperson told People.

"The pair started dating in 2007 and Strahan proposed two years later. It was a rocky start, with Strahan reportedly planting a tracking device in Murphy's car, but he proposed in 2009 and Murphy accepted."
