Being an actor is hard work. From memorization of lines to portraying a character in a believable manner, the task is no easy feat. One person who will definitely attest to this truth is singer-turned-actress Rita Ora who will grace the silver screen in the upcoming film adaptation "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The 23-year-old British popstar admits to have had difficulties on set of director Sam Taylor-Wood while playing Mia Grey, sister to lead actor Christian Grey played by hunk Jamie Dornan. During production of the blond songbird's film debut, Ora admits to being so nervous she kept forgetting her lines.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the "Radioactive" singer confessed, "I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it because I was honestly, like, so nervous, I forgot everything that I had learnt."

Who does Rita credit for helping her? None other than lead female star Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele. "She's a great friend of mine and she really eased me, and she was really nice to take care of me," said Rita of the brunette beauty.

Johnson's character, Steele, is known for being the exact opposite of love interest Christian Grey. Anastacia is a recent college graduate full of hope, innocence and kindness. Based on what Ora has said about Johnson, that's one thing Dakota's got in common with her character. According to Ora, she didn't have to dig very deep to work on being kind, Johnson is already just that.

The vocal powerhouse is very proud of the work that the team has done. The widely popular trilogy by fellow Brit, author E.L. James has done justice to the book, in Ora's opinion.

"The movie is as visually close as it can be [to the book]. I think the actors are phenomenal in this and I'm just kind of honored to be on the same wavelength as them," quoted the Mirror UK of the singer.

"This being my first movie, it's pretty awesome," continued the excited newbie actress.

The story follows the relationship of college graduate Steele and business magnate Christian Grey as they delve into the S&M sexual preferences of Grey. The first book is titled, "Fifty Shades of Grey" while the second and third are titled, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," respectively.

The first official trailer of "Fifty Shades of Grey" was released last week and quickly went viral. To date, the trailer loaded on the film's YouTube account has garnered over 13 million views.

The movie makes it to theaters February 2015 - just in time for Valentine's Day. See the trailer in the video below!
