Jon Bon Jovi, who is rumored to be part of the group who will take ownership of the Buffalo Bills, has recently received some harsh remarks from former wide receiver, Andre Reed.
Reed, who is expected to be inducted at the Pro Football Hall of Fame this coming weekend, was reportedly irked by Bon Jovi's bid on the team franchise, ESPN noted in an article.
Reed reportedly "offered a strong opinion" on the rock start.
"Man, f--- Bon Jovi! You might as well just take this city, throw it in the river, and let it go down Niagara Falls," Reed was quoted by ESPN as saying.
ESPN also said that there is a big possibility that the team will be moved to Canada since Bon Jovi and his group have close ties in Toronto.
The comments of Reed, according to ESPN, were believed to be part of a discussion with the Buffalo Fan Alliance, which is fighting to keep the Bills in the region.
But in a separate report, USA Today noted that Bon Jovi's group does not plan to move the team and that they will not be "legally" allowed to do so until 2019. The same report also noted that some analysts do not foresee the Bills ever leaving Buffalo but that there is a great possibility for the fanbase of the team to mobilize against it because of the recent death of its owner, Ralph Wilson.
USA Today also took note, in the article, that Reed did not only comment about Bon Jovi's ownership of the Bulls. He also dissed Johnny Manziel, the league's most talked about rookie.
"Who the [expletive] is Johnny Manziel? LeBron ain't your guy! You're not 'Johnny Football.' You're 'Johnny Rookie [expletive],' " he was quoted by USA Today.
Coming to Bon Jovi's rescue is a 44-year-old hairstylist and hardcore Bon Jovi fan, Jamielynn Richter.
Richter, who wants to be called "Jovilyn" or simply "Jovi," said that she will do her best to defend the singer, whom she calls "a good main." She added that she also have a collection of pillowcases with Bon Jovi's face printed on all of them. Richter then said that the rock singer sleeps with her every night but "he just doesn't know it."
